Founded the Company in 2003 and is a major shareholder. Exploration geologist by profession, he has been associated with the minerals industry for almost 40 years. Co-founded and managed Ross Mining in mid 1980's which became a successful and respected mid tier low cost gold producer in the 1990's developing seven mines in Queensland, New South Wales and Solomon Islands, and delivered dividends to shareholders. He is Chairman of Peninsula Goldfields Pty Ltd. He is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |
Dr Greg Partington

Founding Director of Auzex Resources Limited with extensive experience and considered at the forefront of spatial analysis and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applied to mineral exploration. Background in gold exploration and business management throughout Australia and south-west Pacific. Greg is managing director of his own company Kenex Pty Ltd. Greg is a member of the Australian Institute of Geologists and the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. |

Managing Director of Gentor Resources LLC based in Oman, he has extensive experience in operations management and project development; most notably the Gold Ridge gold mine in the Solomon Islands, the Bass Strait Tasmanian Natural Gas Pipeline, and a major geothermal project in South Australia. He has held position of Managing Director of the Nauru phosphate operation and held senior management positions in copper mine development in the Middle East. He is a non-executive director of Kenex Pty Ltd. |
Paul Frederiks

Paul Frederiks has extensive public company financial and secretarial management experience in resources sector, including ASX reporting, financial modelling, forecasting, treasury management, hedging, project finance and corporate governance. He operates his own consultancy, Company Secretary of Geodynamics Ltd, non executive director of China Steel Australia Ltd and GE Aviations Systems Australia Pty Ltd. |
The Management Team
The Management team and Board of Directors have significant experience in the Australian and New Zealand mining sectors. This includes greenfields exploration through to resource assessment and mine development. The majority of the Senior Management team attained this experience in their roles as senior operatives with Ross Mining, a leading Australian gold company until it was taken over in 2000.
Specific roles and responsibilities
John Lawton (Managing Director) and Paul Frederiks are primarily responsible for Auzex's corporate and financial affairs.
Dr Greg Partington is responsible for carrying out planned exploration programs and continued business development.
