The company constructed and now operates a four-lane tunnel between Hong Kong Island & Kowloon. The operating franchise, which began in 1969, runs for 30 years. When the franchise expires in 1999, operation of the tunnel will revert back to the government at zero cost. The group also manage the Aberdeen Tunnel. The company has teamed up with CITIC for the construction of Hong Kong's Western Harbour Crossing, which is expected to be completed in June 1997. The group also operated three motoring schools.
