CITIC Resources Holdings Limited was incorporated in Bermuda in 1997 and has been listed on The Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 1997. CITIC Group Corporation (formerly CITIC Group) became our majority controlling shareholder in March 2004 and its subsidiary, CITIC Limited, is currently holding about 60% interests in CITIC Resources.

CITIC Resources positions as an integrated provider of strategic natural resources and key commodities. Principal activities of CITIC Resources include the exploration, development and production of oil and coal, investments in manganese, bauxite mining, alumina refining and aluminium smelting, as well as the import and export of commodities.

Engaging in the natural resources sector, CITIC Resources is very conscious of the impact its activities may have on the environment, and operates with a demonstrated sense of responsibility and responsiveness towards environmental protection.
