China Water Affairs Group Limited (formerly "China Silver Dragon Group Limited") was listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 11 October 1999. The Group was officially renamed in December 2004. Through an assets reorganization, the Group shifted its business focus from electronic manufacturing to water services. Group Chairman Mr. Duan Chuan Liang and many other senior members of the management have extensive expertise and experience in the industry, as they had held senior posts in the Ministry of Water Resources of the PRC or worked in the water services industry for many years. At present, the Group has two water supply companies in Guangdong and Henan respectively, which primarily engage in urban water supply. In addition, the Group has two sewage treatment plants in Tianjin and Hebei respectively, which primarily engage in sewage collection, treatment and drainage.
