Towngas Smart Energy Co Ltd, formerly Towngas China Co Ltd, is an investment holding company principally engaged in the sales and distribution of piped gas in the People’s Republic of China (the PRC). The Company’s main businesses includes the provision of piped gas, the construction of gas pipelines, the operation of city gas pipeline network, the operation of gas fuel automobile refilling stations, and the sale of gas household appliances. The Company operates its business through two segments. The Sales and Distribution of Piped Gas and Related Products segment engages in the sales of piped gas such as natural gas and gas related household appliances. The Gas Connection segment engages in the construction of gas pipeline networks.
