Mr. Lo Ying Shek, the founder and chairman of Great Eagle Group, formed The Great Eagle Company, Limited in 1963 which became a publicly listed company in Hong Kong in 1972.

Under a Scheme of Arrangement implemented in 1990, Great Eagle Holdings Limited, a Bermuda incorporated company, replaced The Great Eagle Company, Limited as a publicly listed company and became the ultimate holding company of Great Eagle Group.

Great Eagle is one of the Hang Seng Index Constituent Stocks listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The principal activities of Great Eagle's subsidiaries are property development, property investment, hotels and restaurants owning and operations, trading of building materials, shares investment, provision of management and maintenance services, property management, financing and insurance agency.
