Incorporated in 1961, Crocodile Garments is mainly engaged in fashion retailing in HK and China and garment manufacturing and export. The company was listed in 1971 and Lai Sun Garment International became its major shareholder in 1987.

Crocodile Garments Limited, a major retailer of men's, ladies' and children's wear and accessories, operates a chain of 45 retail outlets throughout Hong Kong. In addition to its own Crocodile label, which has been part of the Hong Kong fashion scene since 1952, the Group enjoys exclusive rights to market French Lacoste apparel in Hong Kong and Japanese Sanrio children's wear in Hong Kong and the PRC.

In China, where income levels are rising quickly, more than 150 franchise outlets in major and mid-sized cities sell Crocodile clothing and accessories to an increasingly fashion-conscious population. The range of products offered in the PRC is based on the collections in Hong Kong and has been well-received by young, upwardly mobile customers.

Crocodile Garments Limited, is also involved in OEM production of men's dress and casual shirts for leading brand names in North America, the UK, Italy, Spain, Holland and South America. The garments are made in company-owned factories in Hong Kong and in the PRC.
